Our approach has always been about helping you create lasting solutions that can be integrated into your day-to-day.

ExCEL

Exceptional Changemakers and Emerging Leaders (ExCEL) is offered as a 1:1 or group coaching coaching program that is designed specifically for transitioning executives, managers, and emerging leaders from underrepresented groups.

Within a 9-month period, participants design their own transformation journey on 3 stacks: self-mastery, team leadership, and change leadership.

The program concludes with a personal capstone to be identified by the client.

Team Dev

Our team development programs combine workshops and coaching for leadership teams that are engaged in sustainability, ESG, or changemaking initiatives.

This engagement is customized based on the client’s desired outcomes. It typically takes a minimum of 6 months to complete an engagement from start to finish.

We only accept 2-3 team development clients per year.

Meet Our Founder

Hi! My name is Joyce Talag. I am a certified leadership and team coach, and owner of Joyful Transformations LLC.

My mission is to help changemakers from underrepresented groups flourish as whole person leaders who feel empowered to co-create equitable solutions to the world’s biggest challenges.

This sense of purpose was ignited by some major life events—burning out from my last career and moving to the United States as an immigrant. Both of these transformative events happened within the context of a much broader disruption that was defined by geopolitics, AI and technological revolution, and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since 2019, I have coached hundreds of executives and emerging leaders advance in their careers and navigate transitions with greater confidence while managing stress, improving relationships and gaining better clarity of purpose.

As an Asian immigrant and a woman of color, I am aware of the cultural mindsets and structural barriers that get in your way. Through Joyful Transformations, I wish to usher more underrepresented groups into higher leadership roles. I believe that diversity in board rooms leads to more thoughtful decisions that can save the destiny of humanity and our planet.

I bring to our coaching over 12 years of experience working on large-scale corporate social responsibility initiatives plus evidence-based training and continuing education with industry thought leaders and pioneers. I love exploring cities by foot, lounging on beaches and supporting local businesses. Most of all, I love my daughter, Kris, who is my greatest source of joy.
