A Commitment to Social Good

Witnessing my parents working as community nurses at a UNDP project in the Middle East instilled in me a strong sense of social consciousness.

That early childhood experience influenced my choices as a student, professional, and private citizen. I studied development and led socially-oriented organizations before pursuing a career in corporate social responsibility for over 12 years.

The events following the Philippine and US elections in 2016 prompted me to look for more meaningful ways to make an impact, which led me to discover coaching as a force for good.

Working with some of the most talented professionals in corporate America has been a true privilege. I hope to extend the opportunity to young leaders in development who are making a significant impact on the world's most critical issues. Hence, every year, I partner with select development organizations that are working towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for pro bono leadership and team development coaching.

Coaching.com Foundation, previously EthicalCoach, is dedicated to connecting executive coaches with nonprofit organizations worldwide. Since 2022, I've been fortunate to support the growth of three emerging leaders through the Foundation’s partnership with the World Economic Forum's Global Shapers Community and the Globally/Young Professionals in Foreign Policy.

The Humanitarian Coaching Network connects humanitarian staff with volunteer professional coaches following a screening process. Since 2021, I have supported two clients working with Last Mile Health in the US and the UNHCR in DCR and Ethiopia.

Shaping Women’s Futures

Our social initiatives contribute to the fulfillment of these UN SDGs

Joyful Transformations has joined forces with a UK-based social enterprise addressing gender inequality and gender-based violence, along with a Philippine nonprofit offering reproductive health services for marginalized women. This partnership involved leadership and team development programs for their executive teams, spanning two to three months each.

Meanwhile, at the Joyful Lifestyles shop, we link women artisans and entrepreneurs in the Philippines with market opportunities in the United States.

These efforts align with my dedication to women's empowerment, stemming from my role as a student founder of a women's empowerment organization at the Ateneo de Manila University and my early 2000s blog, 'World of Womanity,' where I discussed contemporary women's issues."
